The campsite is located 3 km from the centre of Noordwijkerhout and 5 km from the centre of Lisse. Both villages have a tourist information point (VVV) where you can find information about the region. In addition, there are supermarkets and food and beverage outlets in both village centres. The restaurants Het Tussenstation and Tespelduyn are within walking distance.
If you like visiting cities, Haarlem, Amsterdam and Leiden are located at half an hour driving distance. You can also travel to these cities by train from train station Hillegom.
In spring you can enjoy the view of the bulb fields. Within walking distance (1.5 km), there is a watchtower with a view of the fields. Both in spring and summer there are several events in the region, such as the spring Bloemencorso, the summercorso and Castle Fest.
In summer, the campsite forms an ideal base to go to the beach (6 km), the Oosterduinse lake (5 km) or the Boulevard and beach of Noordwijk. In Noordwijk there are several restaurants and bars including beach restaurants.

The region sports several beautiful walking and cycling routes. There is a mountainbike parcours in the dunes (start located at 4,5 km; mountainbike clinics are possible from our campsite) and various cycling paths through the dunes or in the direction of the Oosterduinsemeer.
You can rent a bike at Rent-a-Bike van Dam in Noordwijkerhout (3 km).
In the direct vicinity (2 km) of the campsite you can walk the so-called ‘boot route’ of approximately 6 km through the grassland and wetland forest of the Lageveense Polder and the former beach ridge of the Keukenhof forest. The route also passes the Lageveense Molen that is visible from the entrance of the campsite.

The campsite is also located close to the Dutch coastal walking route (stage 4).
You can also enjoy the estate and museam LAM at Keukenhof Castle.
At ~18 km distance you will find the race track of Zandvoort circuit, home of the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix and many racing events and track days (20 km).
From the campsite you can walk to the Hogeveense molen in a few minutes.
Do you like golf? Landgoed & Golfbaan Tespelduyn (2,5 km) en Golf Centrum Noordwijk (7,5 km) are a stone’s throw away.
